Classes 1 and 4 Panto trip
The children had a fantastic trip to Bury to see 'Rapunzel and the Rascal Prince'. Once they were all "quiety-shush", they learned from Hyacinth Horseradish, who kept jumbling up her words, that "nothing is impossi-do-able" and helped Ginger to find the giant, fire-breathing wormy-snake that kept killing all the crops. Alastair was invited onto the stage to do a dance to help the breddiweddicake to bake, and everyone in the theatre sang "happy birthday" to Molly. All the children were in good voice, shouting that the baddy was "greedy-weedy" and they joined in with some of the songs. Afterwards, their behaviour in Frankie and Benny's while they ate lunch was impeccable and the ice cream with chocolate buttons was 'awesome'! It was an excellent day and the Class 4 children have produced some excellent writing as a result of the trip.
